The Music Division is responsible for intercollegiate music activities sponsored under the auspices of the Florida Community College Activities Association.  The purposes of the Music Division are to promote the highest standards of music training and performance of member colleges; to develop appropriate activities in music to encourage participation by the maximum number of music students within the member colleges; to promote an annual statewide music event with public and private colleges and universities within the State of Florida; and to provide opportunities for the professional development of music students and faculty members through clinics, seminars, and conferences.

The 2010 FCCAA Winter Music Symposium will be held at the University of North Florida 28–30 January 2010. The Music Student Artist Competition will take place on Thursday afternoon, 29 January. Auditions will take place every 12 minutes; each entrant will perform for 8–10 minutes. Competition winners will be featured in a concert on Friday evening, 29 January.
