Chipola College’s Bianca Jarrett is this week’s FCCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Jarrett, a second-year guard from Kenosho, Wisc., averaged 34.0 points in her final three games of the season. In a span of six days, Jarrett scored 39 points vs. Pensacola (February 15), 31 vs. Northwest Florida State (February 17) and 32 vs. Tallahassee (February 20). Other notable performances: * Shantale Bramble-Donaldson, averaged 17.3 points and 9.7 rebounds in three games * Ashley Wilkes, Miami Dade – averaged 24.0 points in two games February 16 Nicole Collins, Indian River State Sophomore – Forward – Atlanta, Ga. Indian River State College’s Nicole Collins is this week’s FCCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Collins, a sophomore from Atlanta, Ga., recorded a double-double as Indian River State stayed atop the Southern Conference standings with a 69-60 win over Hillsborough. Against the Lady Hawks, Collins hit 7-of-10 field goal attempts and was 2-for-3 from the foul line for 16 points and also pulled down 14 rebounds. With eight steals, Collins flirted with a triple-double and also added four assists and one block. February 9 Vivi Penate, Palm Beach State Freshman – Guard – Pembroke Pines, Fla. Palm Beach State College’s Vivi Penate is this week’s FCCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Penate, a freshman guard from Pembroke Pines, Fla., averaged 27.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 3.0 steals as the Panthers picked up Southern Conference wins over Miami Dade and Indian River State. Against Miami Dade on February 3, Penate scored a career-high 32 points in an 82-77 victory. Three days later against NJCAA No. 13 Indian River State, she tallied 23 points, five rebounds and nine assists in Palm Beach’s 79-71 upset, ending The River’s 13-game winnings streak. For the week, Penate shot 48.1 percent (13-of-27) from the floor, 45.0 percent (9-of-20) from the three-point line and 76.9 percent (20-of-26) from the free throw line. Santa Fe College’s Lanita Bartley is this week’s FCCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Bartley, a sophomore point guard from Jacksonville, Fla., continued a record-breaking season last week, averaging 31.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists in wins against Central Florida and Florida State College-Jacksonville. Against Central Florida on January 27, Bartley tallied 25 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Three days later against FSCJ, she recorded her second triple-double of the season – 37 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists – as the Lady Saints clinched the Mid-Florida Conference Championship. Her 37 points marked the sixth-best single-game effort in Santa Fe history. For the week, she also shot 22-of-32 (68.8 percent) from the free throw line, extending her school records for free throws made in both a season and career. Gulf Coast Community College’s Andrea Smith is this week’s FCCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Smith, a second-year player from Lakeland, Fla., averaged 24.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals in wins over a pair of nationally-ranked opponents. After a modest 14-point effort against No. 11 Northwest Florida State on January 20, Smith carried the Lady Commodores in their 79-67 win at No. 13 Tallahassee on January 23. Against the Lady Eagles, Smith hit 11-of-18 field goals, including 5-of-8 three-pointers, as she tallied 34 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals. For the week, Smith shot 53.1 percent (17-of-32) from the floor, 54.5 percent (6-of-11) from the three-point line and 80.0 percent (8-of-10) from the charity stripe. Miami Dade College’s Ashleigh Kelly is this week’s FCCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Kelly, a sophomore from Miramar, Fla., averaged 25.0 points and 17.5 rebounds while shooting 79.3 percent (23-of-29) from the floor as the Lady Sharks picked up wins on consecutive days against No. 6 Santa Fe and Brevard. Against the Lady Saints on January 15, she hit 12-of-14 from the floor en route to a 27-point, 18-rebound, five-steal evening in Miami Dade’s 83-74 overtime win. The next day, her 23 points and 17 rebounds led the Lady Sharks past Brevard, 81-65. Pensacola Junior College’s Deana Allen is this week’s FCCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Allen, currently the nation’s second-leading scorer, led the NJCAA No. 7 Lady Pirates to Panhandle Conference victories over a pair of nationally-ranked opponents. On January 6 against No. 4 Northwest Florida State, Allen tallied 23 points, six rebounds and three assists in an 83-75 overtime victory. Three days later, on the road at No. 10 Tallahassee, she had 30 points, ten rebounds, four assists and four steals in Pensacola’s 80-69 win. For the week, Allen averaged 26.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals.

Bartley, a sophomore guard from Jacksonville, Fla., led the Lady Saints to road wins over Middle Georgia and South Georgia Tech by averaging 20.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 5.0 steals. In the January 2 win over Middle Georgia, Bartley became only the second player in Santa Fe history to record a triple-double (23 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, 7 steals) and was within three steals of a quadruple double. She added another strong performance one day later against South Georgia Tech with 17 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals. For the week, Bartley shot 48.0 percent (12-of-25) from the field and 77.8 percent (14-of-18) from the free throw line. Northwest Florida State College’s Shamar Harris is this week’s FCCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Harris, a second-year player from West Palm Beach, Fla., led the Lady Raiders to a pair of victories on the road, averaging 24.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 6.0 steals. At Georgia Perimeter on December 11, she recorded 23 points, four rebounds, six assists and six steals in Northwest Florida State’s 70-60 victory. The next day, she helped the Lady Raiders overcome a pesky Snead State team with 25 points, five rebounds, five assists and six steals in her team’s 67-62 win. For the week, Harris shot 48.5 percent (16-of-33) from the floor and 66.7 percent (12-of-18) from the free throw line. Wilkes, who hails from Canada, averaged 15.5 points, 14.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in two games at last weekend’s Florida Women’s JUCO Shootout. Against top-ranked Gulf Coast on December 4, she recorded 11 points, ten rebounds and two blocks. The next day against No. 9 Chipola, she posted 20 points, 18 rebounds and three blocks. For the week, Wilkes shot 51.9 percent (14-of-27) from the field and hit all three of her free throw attempts. Tallahassee Community College’s Ashley White is this week’s FCCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. White, a first-year player from Philadelphia, Pa., averaged 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.0 steals as the Lady Eagles ran their winning streak to seven with a pair of victories at the Georgia Perimeter College Thanksgiving Classic. In Friday’s opener against host Georgia Perimeter, White recorded 15 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals. Then, on Saturday, against NJCAA No. 5 Walters State, she scored 20 points, including the go-ahead free throw in the closing seconds, to give TCC a 66-65 win, ending Walters State’s 47-game regular season winning streak. White also dished out nine assists in the one-point victory. For the week, she shot 56.5 percent (13-of-23) from the floor, hit two of her four three-point attempts and was 7-for-10 from the free throw line. Indian River State College’s Shantale Bramble-Donaldson is this week’s FCCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Bramble-Donaldson, a sophomore from the Bronx, led Indian River to a win in its only game of the week, but it was a big one - a 75-68 upset at FCCAA No.5/NJCAA 17 and previously undefeated Santa Fe College on November 21. In the win over the Lady Saints, Bramble-Donaldson hit 8-of-12 from the field and 4-of-8 from the foul line en route to a 20-point, 17-rebound performance. She also recorded three assists, one steal and one block. Campbell, a sophomore from London, England, averaged 25.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals in victories over Daytona State College and Florida State College at Jacksonville. Against Daytona State on November 13, she posted 31 points, nine rebounds, six assists and four steals in the Lady Raiders’ 77-59 win. The next day, she added 19 points, seven rebounds and two assists in her team’s 33-point victory. For the week, Campbell shot 48.6 percent (18-of-37) from the field and 50 percent (7-of-14) from the three-point stripe. November 10 Deana Allen, Pensacola Sophomore – Guard – Houma, La. Pensacola Junior College’s Deana Allen is this week’s FCCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Allen, a sophomore from Houma, La., averaged 26.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 6.0 steals, leading the No. 4 Lady Pirates to a 3-0 start. Allen scored at least 25 points in all three games, including a 28-point effort in the November 2 season opener against Alabama Southern. On November 6 against Enterprise-Ozark, she recorded a double-double – 25 points and 11 assists, and on November 7 vs. Snead State, she tallied 25 points and seven steals. For the week, Allen shot 60.0 percent (27-of-45) from the floor and 88.0 percent (22-of-25) from the foul line and, with only two turnovers in three games, recorded a 9:1 assist to turnover ration.
